ALTA Best Practice #1: Establish and maintain current License(s) as required to conduct the business of title insurance and settlement services.

Fort Bend Title follows both Texas Department of Insurance regulations and ALTA guidelines regarding licensing and continuing education. In fact, we believe so strongly in the value of staying up-to-date with the latest changes to the industry that attorneys with our sister company, The Holoway Jones Law Firm, also maintain licenses as Escrow Agents, to ensure that you are always getting the best possible guidance.

ALTA Best Practice #2: Adopt and maintain appropriate written procedures and controls for Escrow Trust Accounts allowing for electronic verification of reconciliation.
